Small Butterflies MDF template for resin art

Set of 3 small Butterflies in one template for resin art.  Once colored the butterflies can be assembled into stand up models as shown in the photos.

Our MDF templates don't require a backing panel and can be painted whatever color the artist desires (or left tan colored).  The template is ideal for making a colorful indoor suncatcher if filled using resin colored with transparent dyes.

Please Note that the MDF material doesn't do well when exposed to water, meaning that these products are not suitable for outdoor use.

The butterflies are approx. 6 inches wide x 6 inches long x 3 inches tall when assembled.  The MDF material is 3.2mm thick giving plenty of space for adding color.

Our laser cut templates are simpler and more easy to use than our 3D printed templates.  We recommend these templates be dipped in resin and stuck onto holographic film or release film the day before coloring.  Our release film (sold separately) is glossy so your finished work can be as transparent as possible.  The embedded video shows an example of the template being used.
