One time use Hummingbird pattern for use in either resin art or acrylic pour painting.
This 3D printed part sits flat against the canvas or panel allowing the artist to stick it in place using a thin coat of resin. The artist can then pour paint or resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate geometric patterns.
This pattern is very versatile but was originally intended to be used for resin window art on an plexiglass panel or mirror art.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed part.
The pattern is 12 inches square and 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour. Please note sizes are approximate as there is some shrinkage when the part is removed from the printer. It is produced from metallic copper PLA.
We try to make the template as robust as possible by using high quality PLA+ material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.

I shared this on FB and had one lady order FIVE of them for her family Christmas presents! It can easily be changed - the colors of the inner circle, the outer Art Deco areas, as well as the hummer itself. I LOVE this one.
I have purchased this template 3 times and I love it. I completed the first one in memory of my mom and my sister and brother fell in love with it so I’ve ordered more to complete.
Nice template but abit bigger than stated so the edge hangs over a 12 inch canvas making it impossible for me to do the edges of the template as the resin will just pour through as it doesnt meet the edge.
Next time i will check before resining the template to the canvas.

Hi Teresa, sorry you are having some issues. Our hummingbird template is pretty much exactly 11 3/4 inches square and all are printed from the same file... Sometimes good quality canvases have larger radii around the top edge making the usable area less than their stated size. Again, apologies for any inconvenience.
Was going to use it with glass pieces but they were too big. However I’ve found that left over Diamond dots work great!!
