One time use Trinity Knot Pattern for use in either resin art or acrylic pour painting.
This template is perfect for use with our equilateral triangle aluminum art panel (purchased separately).
This 3D printed part sits flat against the canvas or panel allowing the artist to stick it in place using a thin coat of resin. The artist can then pour paint or resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate geometric patterns.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed part.
The pattern is approx. 12 inches from corner to corner and 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour. Please note sizes are approximate as there is some shrinkage when the part is removed from the printer. It is produced from metallic copper PLA.
We try to make the pattern as robust as possible by using high quality PLA+ material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave some space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.

They’re very cool but fragile and I wish there was some sort of hanging loops so I didn’t have to drill the finished product to hang them
Thanks for the feedback! The Trinity Knot template is intended to be mounted on a substrate like one of our acrylic panels. We do stock some templates that are designed to be stand alone( like the teardrop template), but those are thicker and do have hanging loops. If you are mounting the Trinity knot template on one of our panels we recommend using Command strips or transparent glue dots to fix the piece to the wall or window. Thanks again for your review.
This trinity knot is fun to create. So many things u can mount it too and create wonderful items. Now that I have done this one I can try other mixed media, but i still love resin!
