Coaster templates for Angelina film (4 templates with acrylic bases)

One time use Coaster Kit with 4 different organic designs (4 templates with acrylic bases) for use with resin art.

This bundle consists of the following

1. Four square transparent acrylic bases with rounded corners, 3mm thick

2. Four organic design 3D printed templates, 2mm thick pattern with 4mm additional space.

Not Included - Angelina Film available separately here.

These 3D printed parts sit flat against the acrylic bases allowing the artist to stick them in place using a thin coat of resin.   The artist can then pour resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate organic patterns.  The template has space behind the design to fill with any media the artist chooses, eg. flowers, pebbles, or films.  The original intent was that these templates be used with Angelina film (sold separately).  Please watch the embedded video for use instructions.

If you are concerned about adhesion between your specific brand of resin and the acrylic base, please consider scuffing up the surface of the base with some sandpaper prior to use.

It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite colors with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed parts. 

The templates have a total thickness of 6mm with 2mm being the pattern layer, giving plenty of depth for your resin pour.  They are produced from metallic copper colored PLA.  

We try to make the patterns as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design.  However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.  The acrylic bases are 3mm thick and so should be robust to normal use.
