Canada Shipping -
Canadian orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your country. Pour Away Fluid Arts is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
US Orders -
20 December 25 - We are currently seeing delays to orders entering the US through Chicago and potentially other locations. Delays seem to be in both customs and USPS and in some cases tracking hasn't updated in over a week. We will continue to monitor the situation but in the short term please be aware that shipping may take a little longer than expected.
The recent elimination of de minimis, combined with the introduction of worldwide tariffs, means that nearly all imports into the US now have import tax to pay. To make this as easy as possible we have modified our prices to include the tariff and this will be paid direct to the CBP by our mail service provider on your behalf. You shouldn't have anything additional to pay at the time of delivery. This process is new to everyone, but so far seems to be working well. Please allow for slightly longer than usual delivery times until things are better understood
Please also take time to check your order details and delivery address as returns might be challenging.
EU Orders -
We were forced to stop taking EU orders in 2024 due to ever increasing regulatory burden. We get asked a lot of questions on this so here is a quick summary of those requirements.
General data protection requirement (GDPR) - We are compliant with this regulation, with the exception that the EU requires us to have a human representative physically located within the EU.
General Product safety requirement (GPSR) - Our products are non hazardous but the EU requires us to have an additional human representative physically located within the EU.
Packaging and Packaging waste regulation (PPWR) - Our packaging is reusable or recyclable as far as possible and we ship in plain cardboard boxes, but the EU requires us to register our packaging and pay a fee for recycling before we ever ship an item into an EU member state. Each member state has different requirements for this regulation, which includes labelling, meaning we would need to ship to different countries in different boxes with different printing. The EU also now requires us to have an additional human representative in each member state that we ship to.
So bottom line is if we wanted to ship to, say 3 countries in the EU, we would need to find and contract 5 humans within the EU, which frankly is impossible for small businesses like ours. If you think this is crazy too please feel free to contact your MEP.
