Stained Glass MDF template for resin art

Stained glass window template for resin art, with feet for standing on a shelf or window sill.

Our MDF templates don't require a backing panel and can be painted whatever color the artist desires (or left tan colored).  The template is ideal for making a colorful indoor suncatcher if filled using resin colored with transparent dyes.  You can use release liner to make the window transparent or, as in the example video, you can use foil to make a reflective piece.

Please Note that the MDF material doesn't do well when exposed to water, meaning that these products are not suitable for outdoor use.

The template is approx. 11 inches tall and 3.2mm thick giving plenty of space for adding color.  There is a second identically sized piece to give your window that 3D look.  The feet are 2 3/4 inches long.

Our laser cut templates are simpler and more easy to use than our 3D printed templates.  We recommend these templates be dipped in resin and stuck onto release film the day before coloring.  Our release film (sold separately) is glossy so your finished work can be as transparent as possible.  The embedded video shows an example of the template being used.
