One time use Rolling Waves Pattern for use in  either resin art or acrylic pour painting. 

This 3D printed part sits flat against the canvas allowing the artist to stick it in place using either a thin coat of resin (recommended) or a layer of paint.   The artist can then pour paint or resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate geometric patterns.  

It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed part. 

The pattern is 12 inches square and 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour.  Please note sizes are approximate as there is some shrinkage when the part is removed from the printer.   It is produced from metallic copper PLA.  

We try to make the pattern as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design.  However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave some space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.

rolling wave 12 by 12

I bought 12 by 12 aluminum sheets from amazon and these dont fit on them nor do they fit on a 12 by 12 canvas gonna have to put them on a 14 by 14 canvas to make them work

So sorry you had some fit issues with your template Traci. The rolling wave templates are only a tiny bit under 12 inches square and so if your panel was undersized at all there may have been a little overhang. I'm going to adjust the template to make it a little bit smaller and give a bit more margin based on your review. I'll purge our inventory so others won't see the same issue. This was my favorite one to make, of the four patterns I ordered. Everything arrived intact and on time, plus it’s easy to follow the tutorials on YouTube. Will definitely order again.

Rolling waves pattern 12x12"

I love it, I will buy more. I am going to paint pour it with pigments & metallics.❤️. My dtr suggested using it as an overlay onto a finished painting for a different kind of arty look. It didn't occur to me. Cool idea though.
