Sampler pack of resin art templates, comprising 2 wall art pieces with wooden border and 1 wood cut butterfly. Perfect if you are looking for your first resin art templates or for experienced users looking for great value.

If you are new to resin art - The example pieces were made using Nic Pro Resin and a 24 color pack of mica powders from Rolio. Both are available from Amazon.
The 2 wall art pieces are created by first coating the acrylic panels with epoxy resin, then sticking the wooden border and template in place. Note you may need to weigh the border down during curing to ensure it is perfectly flat. Once cured you can color the template with more epoxy resin colored with your favorite dyes, glitter, mica powders etc. Please note that resin and colorants are not supplied.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed part.
The wood cut butterfly should be created by coating one side with epoxy resin and then placing onto the supplied release film. Note it is best if the release film is placed on a flat surface or panel prior to starting and for the whole process. Once cured you can add color, and once that has cured, the butterfly can be removed from the film and assembled into a 3D model.
The templates are both 2mm (~1/16") thick giving plenty of depth for your pour. The wooden border is made from 3mm (1/8") thick basswood ply wood and can be finished with your choice of finish or painted.
We try to make the templates as robust as possible by using high quality PLA and plywood material and through careful design. However, please note that they have to be thin walled parts to leave some space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
