Poinsettia Design Coasters (4 Patterns with acrylic bases)

One time use Coaster Kit with a Poinsettia Flower pattern (4 Patterns with acrylic bases) for use with resin art.

These 3D printed parts sit flat against the acrylic bases allowing the artist to stick them in place using a thin coat of resin.   The artist can then pour resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate geometric patterns.  The intent is that the acrylic base forms the top of your coaster, but you can use them either way up.

If you are concerned about adhesion between your specific brand of resin and the acrylic base, please consider scuffing up the surface of the base with some sandpaper prior to use.

This bundle consists of the following

1. Four 4" diameter circular shaped transparent acrylic bases, 2mm thick

2. Four 4" diameter 3D printed templates, also 2mm thick

It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite colors with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed parts. 

The patterns are 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your resin pour.   They are produced from metallic copper PLA.  

We try to make the patterns as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design.  However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.  The acrylic bases are 2mm thick and so should be robust to normal use.
