One time use Orchids Resin Art Template for use in resin art.
These 3D printed parts sit flat against a panel or release film allowing the artist to coat it in resin and stick it in place. The artist can then pour colored resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized Orchids and leaves. These can then be placed on a wall or attached to a wire to make a 3D resin artwork of an orchid plant.
Note - Wire for the stem is not supplied, but is available through amazon - Search for Armature Wire or use Florists wire.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed part. This template consists of the 5 parts shown in the photographs.
The leaves pattern is approx. 13 inches across and all templates are 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour. Please note sizes are approximate as there is some shrinkage when the part is removed from the printer. It is produced from metallic copper colored PLA.
We try to make the pattern as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave some space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
