One time use Christmas Tree resin art lamp kit
The 3D printed part sit flat against the side panels of the resin art box lamp allowing the artist to stick it in place using a thin coat of resin. The artist can then pour resin into the different areas creating a Christmassy themed personalized wrap around pattern.
Please Note - Price includes the pyramid box lamp. However resin, lights and paint etc are not supplied.
Important - Fire Hazard - The lamp must only be used with LED lights that do not produce any heat. Never put an incandescent bulb or a naked flame inside your lamp.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp detail of the 3D printed part.
The finished lamp is around 12 inches tall, and the base is 5 3/4 inches square. The parts are designed to fit inside the lamp box if centered carefully on the side panels. The templates have a chamfer to allow them to fit neatly together and it is important that the flat side is placed against the side panels when being stuck in place. We advise watching this video before attempting to use this kit. It is produced from metallic copper PLA.
We try to make the template as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
I love the Christmas Tree kit!! So beautiful!!! I would give a little advice, when putting the template onto the acrylic, be sure that it does not move and it is lined up perfectly. There are small notches on the edges of the acrylic that go together to hold the tree up and if the template moves, it does interfere with those locking tabs.
In my picture you will notice a small light on the top that are lights that I put inside and I plan to put a small star on the top so the light sticking out will go inside of the star.
