Rose Faux Stained Glass Kit

This is a limited release Item.  We only have a small number of these kits and when they are gone they are gone.

This rose faux stained glass Kit uses two 3D printed forms in place of lead lines and stained glass films in place of colored glass.  The kit comes with a transparent acrylic panel with a stand.

This kit comprises

• A4 sized Acrylic panel with stand
• 2 black 3D printed forms with semicircular section (one for each side)
• 1 piece of red stained glass film
• 2 pieces of green stained glass film
• 2 pieces of blue stained glass film

Please note that the shade of red and blue films may vary.

The 3D printed form sits flat against the acrylic panel so that the artist can stick it in place using the dip and place method.  Note that the flat side of the form should be placed against the panel.  Once cured the panel should be turned over and the different colored stained glass films stuck onto the back.  The films can be applied wet or dry.  The film can then be cut in place by carefully using a craft knife to score down the center of the lines.  There is ample film to create the design shown, but the artist should be careful not to waste too much in case they should run out.

Once all the film is placed and cut, the second 3D printed form should be stuck over the film to match the form on the other side.  Again place it flat side down - Note that the 2 forms are mirror images of each other.

The base can be easily attached by slotting the 2 parts together.  

The finished artwork is approximately 12  inches tall.  Acrylic parts are 3mm (~1/8 inch) thick.   Both sides of the acrylic parts are protected during shipping by an easily removed plastic film.  All acrylic edges are laser cut leaving them with a polished finish.
