The artist should start by removing the protective film from one side of their panel.  Then spread a small layer of resin over the surface and position the template, giving it a bit of a wiggle to make sure it's well coated in the resin and leave to cure.  The artist can then color it using their favorite materials.   Once cured the remaining protective films can be removed and the base assembled to the panel.  The artist can then literally plant the finished piece in a pot of their choosing making for a unique and elegant sculptural piece.

Both sides of all panel parts are protected during shipping by an easily removed plastic film.  All edges are laser cut leaving them with a polished finish. 

It is intended that the template remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines of the 3D printed part. 

The finished piece is 10 1/2 inches tall and 12 inches wide.  The template is 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour.  The template is produced from metallic copper PLA and the panel is cut from 3mm transparent acrylic..  

We try to make the template as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design.  However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
