One time use Butterflies Pattern for use in either resin art or acrylic pour painting.
72 Butterflies (12 each of 6 different sizes) for you to do with as you please. They are perfect for a random pattern or you can create a 12 arm mandala as shown in the video link below.
These 3D printed parts sit flat against the canvas or panel allowing the artist to stick them in place using a thin coat of resin. The artist can then pour paint or resin into the different areas creating beautiful personalized intricate geometric patterns.
It is intended that the templates remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines and symmetry of the 3D printed parts.
There are more than enough butterflies to cover a 12 x 12 canvas or panel including in the form of a mandala, but also in any other arrangement that the artist chooses. The butterflies are produced from metallic copper colored PLA.
We try to make the pattern as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave some space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
