Workflow 3 outline - Please read before getting in touch.
Step 1 – Customer can get in touch email and share your design including the file or an image of your design for review (free). Note - only written communications are accepted for record keeping purposes.
Accepted file types – SVG, DXF, AI, lbrn2
Material – Material will be tan colored 3.2mm Laser MDF
Max size per item – 295x295mm (11.5x11.5”) (limited by material stock and shipping ). Files requiring more than one sheet can be discussed, but will require one purchase per sheet.
Usage rights – By purchasing this service you agree to the following statement – “I confirm I own or am licensed to have this design fabricated by a third party” We cannot supply any templates that you do not own or have a license for, or any design that you may have created that breaches copyright, trademark or other intellectual property law.
Step 2. If approved you will then purchase the agreed product listings from the following options. These are separated into design and set up products and physical part products. You will need both.
Please note that flat rate shipping is additional for physical products and will be added at checkout –
Option 1. Scale and cut only – choose this option if you are providing a ready to cut file. This option is for file handling and set up only.
Option 2. Simple file updates required prior to cut. Includes one feedback check (response time for this will be additional to shipping time). This option is for design and set up only.
Option 3. Complex file updates, mating parts requiring trial assemblies, kerf tuning, or image conversions required prior to cut – non preferred. Includes 1 rework loop and 1 confirmation check (response times will be added to the shipping time)
Option 4 - Physical parts. Options 1 – 3 are design service products. Add one or multiples of this option for the physical cut outs. You will also need multiples of this option if your design won't fit on one sheet.
Additional rework loop. We will let you know if this is required. Don’t purchase this without speaking to us first.
Step 3. Pour Away Fluid arts will cut your file, test fit it, package and ship it to you.
Shipping is additional. Cost will be added at checkout. All orders ship from Scotland – allow for shipping time in your process
