One time use Dragonfly and Iris Resin Art Template for use in either resin art, window art or Mirror art.
This 3D printed part sits flat against the canvas or panel allowing the artist to stick it in place using a thin coat of resin. The artist can then pour paint or resin into the different areas creating a beautiful personalized scene of a dragonfly circling an Iris, all set in a deco art inspired frame.
This pattern is very versatile but was originally intended to be used for resin art on an acrylic mirror with the artist being able to combine an artwork with a functional piece.
It is intended that the pattern remain a permanent part of the finished piece combining your favorite method with the crisp lines of the 3D printed part.
The pattern is 11 1/4 inches square and 1/16" thick giving plenty of depth for your pour. Please note sizes are approximate as there is some shrinkage when the part is removed from the printer. It is produced from metallic copper PLA.
We try to make the template as robust as possible by using high quality PLA material and through careful design. However, please note that it has to be a thin walled part to leave space for you to add color and therefore may be damaged if not handled carefully.
